PPD arrests 3 connected in mini storage unit burglaries

Press Release from the Ponchatoula Police Department:

Chief Layrisson reports the arrest of three individuals involved in burglaries at the Oak Tree Mini Storage on West Pine Street.

Ponchatoula Police officers located and arrested three individuals this morning in connection to numerous storage unit burglaries at the Oak Tree Mini Storage. Over the past few weeks, the suspects were cutting the locks and stealing items located inside numerous units. The suspects were located at a residence on Esterbrook road, along with a large number of stolen items.

*If you have a storage unit at the Oak Tree Mini Storage and have noticed missing items, please contact Ponchatoula Police Detectives.*

Suspects charged:
--Gary Dennis, Jr, 48, was arrested for Business Burglary, Criminal Damage-Felony, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and 2X Fugitive of Other Jurisdiction.

--Chris Jordan, 47, was arrested for Business Burglary, and Criminal Damage- Felony.

--Carolyn Clesi, 43, was located at the residence and was booked as a Fugitive from Mississippi.
