AMITE---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on September 24, 2019 before Judge Elizabeth Wolfe and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

David Arms, age 29, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $100.00 fine along with court costs.

Benjamin Bertucci, age 36, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to aggravated criminal damage to property, hit and run driving, and theft under $1,000.00. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Kelnisha Jackson, age 21, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts introducing contraband upon or into any state correctional institution. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections for each count. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Justin Laciura, age 27, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $100.00 fine along with court costs.

Destiny Lizana, age 19, of Hammond, LA pleaded no contest to schedule II controlled dangerous substances and possession of marijuana. She was sentenced one year with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for two years. She is ordered to pay a $100.00 fine along with court costs.

Jaylohn Mitchell, age 18, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to simple battery. He was sentenced to 90 days in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Erica Oliver, age 36, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances and two counts of theft under $1,000.00. She was sentenced to one year in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Bradley Patrick, age 24, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to second degree battery. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Jessica Perry, age 35, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances, possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle while intoxicated- fourth offense, careless operation of a vehicle, domestic abuse battery-first offense, and two counts of child desertion-exposure to danger. She was sentenced to 10 years with the department of corrections. Eight years of the sentence was suspended and two years are to be served without benefit. She will be placed on probation for three years and ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Rocky Purvis, age 21, of Loranger, LA, pleaded no contest to violation of uniform controlled dangerous substances law in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana- first offense. He was sentenced to 20 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for six months. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Scott Sharp, age 44, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Rose Watson, age 51, of Kentwood, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for two years. She is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Kelvin Young, age 49, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances and possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances.

In other news from criminal court in Tangipahoa Parish, District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on September 18, 2019 before Judge Jeffery Johnson and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Bruce Carlson, age 30, of Hammond, LA, was sentenced to four years with the department of corrections for distribution/possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He received credit for time served.

Kendrick Dyson, age 45, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to theft in excess of $1,000.00 but less than $5,000.00. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Robert Felder, age 29, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances-heroin, possession of marijuana, and making/issuing/using false certificate of inspection. He was sentenced to four years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Stanley Hebert, age 44, of Robert, LA, pleaded no contest to third offense driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. Two years of the sentence were suspended and he is to serve one year of in home incarceration. He is ordered to pay a $2,000.00 fine along with court costs.

Randy Holmes, age 18, of Greensburg, LA, pleaded no contest to first degree robbery. Sentencing is scheduled for October 22, 2019.

David Murdock, age 49, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor identity theft. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $250.00 fine along with court costs.

Javier Maldonado-Baez, age 41, of Orlando, FL, pleaded no contest to production/manufacturing or possession with intent to produce/manufacture a schedule II controlled dangerous substances- 28 grams or more fentanyl. He was sentenced to 15 years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Joshua O’Neal, age 32, of Tickfaw, LA, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor forgery of certificate of insurance. He was sentenced to six months with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Ebony Parker, age 31, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession with intent to distribute schedule IV controlled dangerous substances and possession of marijuana. She was sentenced to 10 years with the department of corrections. She received credit for time served.

Jyron Smith, age 18, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Kozek Watkins, age 20, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to criminal trespassing. He received credit for time served.

Tyler Andrews, age 20, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to accessory to armed robbery, aggravated flight from an officer where human life is endangered, and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle. Sentencing is scheduled for November 20, 2019.

Reginald Bird, age 28, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to aggravated battery. Sentencing is scheduled for November 20, 2019.

Dalvine Crosby, age 25, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Sentencing is scheduled for November 20, 2019.

Russell Milton, age 47, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to theft in excess of $1,000.00 but less than $5,000.00 and forgery. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections for each count. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Romeriez Watkins, age 21, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances- cocaine and possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances-hydrocodone. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections for each count. The sentence was deferred and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $350.00 fine along with court costs.

Leroy White, age 35, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to aggravated battery-domestic violence. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Andre Ferenchak, age 40, of Albany, LA, pleaded no contest to third offense driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Dedrick Grant, age 27, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to distribution/possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances and first offense domestic abuse battery-household member. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. Carlton Howze, age 35, of Holden, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Rodney Magee Jr., age 22, of Tickfaw, LA, pleaded no contest to indecent behavior with a juvenile. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Tyrone Seaberry, age 44, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Donald Taylor, age 37, of Covington, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of stolen property. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Nathan Wilson, age 27, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession with intent to distribute schedule III controlled dangerous substances, distribution/possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances, distribution/possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to six years with the department of corrections. He is to serve the sentence without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. Time is to be served concurrently.

He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was deferred and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $250.00 fine along with court costs.

Amanda Anthony, age 33, of Tickfaw, LA, pleaded no contest to theft of $5,000.00 or more but less than $25,000.00. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay a $250.00 fine along with court costs and restitution.

Eugene Bellazan, age 45, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances- cocaine and possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances-methamphetamine. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. Brennan Bennett, age 32, of Walker, LA, pleaded no contest to theft of a firearm-first offense. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Michael Garcia, age 48, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to theft of $5,000.00 or more but less than $25,000.00 and theft of $750.00 or more but less than $5,000.00. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections for each count. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $350.00 fine along with court costs.

Amber Haggard, age 24, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. James Hughes, age 51, of Magee, MS, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances- heroin. He was sentenced to 10 years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Shane McCahill, age 32, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to forgery. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $250.00 fine along with court costs.

Carnell McDowell, age 39, of Covington, LA, pleaded no contest to attempted possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was deferred and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $250.00 fine along with court costs.

Vada Scott, age 39, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to distribution of schedule I controlled dangerous substances and bank fraud. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections for each count. Time is to be served concurrently. He received credit for time served.

Tevin James, age 19, of Plaquemine, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of theft over $1,000.00. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was deferred and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Leroy Johnson, age 69, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession with intent to distribute marijuana and two counts of possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to 10 years with the department of corrections. Seven years of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Sarah Lumford, age 23, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. She received credit for time served.

Aaron Rosenberg, age 29, of Monroe, LA, pleaded no contest to second offense driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $1,210.00 fine along with court costs.

Nickta Williams, age 44, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of theft under $1,000.00 with prior convictions. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections.

He was sentenced to10 years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Samuel Hopkins, age 26, of Kentwood, LA, pleaded no contest to simple robbery. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

Theresa Loupe, age 48, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to creation/operation of a clandestine laboratory. She was sentenced to 10 years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay a $750.00 fine along with court costs.

TaiRon Norman, age 27, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to first offense domestic abuse battery. He was sentenced to four months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $350.00 fine along with court costs.

Jerry Williams, age 56, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to manslaughter, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, aggravated assault with a firearm, and false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon. He was sentenced to 60 years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Chelsie Wilson, age 28, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to child desertion. She was sentenced to four months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for one year. She is ordered to pay a $200.00 fine along with court costs.
