Ken Benitez / Saturday, December 19, 2020 / Categories: Latest Stories Pearl River woman dies in Friday night wreck Compiled from press releases from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office and the St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office:PEARL RIVER---A 45-year-old Pearl River woman died in a single-vehicle crash at Lester Road Friday night.The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash, and their preliminary investigation suggests the crash occurred as a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado truck with Mississippi plates was traveling eastbound on Howard O’Berry Road in the Pearl River area. For unknown reasons, the driver failed to negotiate the 90-degree turn onto Lester Road and crashed into several trees at approximately 7:10 p.m. Friday (December 18) night.The driver and passenger and were transported by medical personnel to a local hospital, where the passenger, identified as 45-year-old Aimee Bennett of Pearl River, was pronounced dead.The investigation into this crash continues.
