-Governor John Bel Edwards is expected to announce today at 2:30 whether the current stay at home order will be revised after the expiration of the current directives on May 15. -The state will get a better idea of the budget outlook today when the Revenue Estimating Conference presents information on how much money the state may expect to collect this year, and the impact of the coronavirus. The presentation and other legislative hearings are streamed live on the Legislature website legis.la.gov.
-The SBA today released its latest report on Round Two funding of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). So far in this round, Louisiana has received more than 37,000 loans totaling more than $2.2 billion. Louisiana businesses received $5.1 billion in loans in Round One.
