Jack Lee McMillion
Jack, age 70, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. He was a Godly man who loved to share his love for the Lord. His life was a reflection of his dedication and passion for his heavenly Father. He was a true leader, highly respected for his honesty, integrity, and humility. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and caring son. He was a friend to many and had many, many friends. Jack was a kind gentleman who never met a stranger and truly saw the best in everyone he met. He was a Vietnam Veteran, who served his country proudly as an E5 in the 19TH Engineer Combat Battalion before being honorably discharged in July of 1975. He was a dedicated worship leader, teacher, and mentor for many years. Jack retired from Massman Construction where he was a senior crane operator. He was passionate about his work and projects where his expertise was greatly admired. He was revered for his knowledge and wisdom of his trade. He was a true gift to his family and friends and will deeply be missed by all who loved him.
Jack leaves behind his sons, Chris, Keith and Brian McMillion (wife, Lisa); grandchildren, Jordan (wife, Gabrielle), Garrett, Cole, Trystan, Piper, Gracie, and Layla; mother, Helen Louise McMillion; sisters, Debbie Daniels (Ronnie), Donnas Pack (Donnie), Paula Guthrie (John), Kimberly King-Shaw (Michael); brother, Michael McMillion; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Jack is preceded in death by his adoring wife, Karen McMillion; and his father, Columbus Leroy McMillion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th with visitation beginning at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, PONCHATOULA, at 1:00 p.m.
