SEVENTH WARD MARSHAL PAT FARRIS PARTNERS WITH UNITED WAY FOR MASK DISTRIBUTION
During the spike in COVID-19 cases, Seventh Ward Marshal Pat Farris has partnered with the United Way of Southeast Louisiana to assist in the United Way’s “Donations of Critical Goods” campaign.
“The United Way is always a great community partner during extraordinary events,” said Marshal Farris. “When they reached out to ask the Marshal’s Office for assistance to distribute disposable masks to local churches, we immediately agreed. We are proud to serve the community during this time in our history.”
Four hundred masks were donated and delivered to Pear Ridge Church of Christ and Trinity Baptist Church.
“As long as there is a need for these disposable masks, the Marshal’s Office is ready to lend a helping hand to the local churches and the United Way of Southeast Louisiana.”
