Many cases in Tangipahoa criminal court

Amite - District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on December 16, 2020 before Judge Jeffery Johnson and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Naomi Anderson, age 33, of Durant, MS, pleaded no contest to production/manufacturing/possession with intent to produce or manufacture schedule II controlled dangerous substances. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended, and she was placed on probation for two years. She is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Deontrie Carter, age 23, of Kentwood, LA, pleaded no contest to criminal mischief. He received credit for time served.

Justin Ciccio, age 27, of Kentwood, LA, pleaded no contest to sexual battery. He was sentenced to 10 years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Bobby Crockett, age 53, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to simple escape. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Jessie Fair, age 42, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances, possession of schedule IV controlled dangerous substances, and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections for each count. He received credit for time served.

Jamie Felder, age 26, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Shawn Felder, age 28, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, simple criminal damage to property $1,000-$50,000.00, and resisting an officer with force or violence. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. Time is to be served concurrently.

Anthony Harrell, age 28, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Rusty Lee, age 34, of Springfield, LA, pleaded no contest to illegal carrying of weapons. He received credit for time served.

Christopher Ratcliff, age 39, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances and three counts of failure to register as a sex offender. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Bobby Robinson, age 21, of Bogalusa, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Charlton Turner, age 45, of Houston, TX, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated- third offense and simple burglary. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections for each count. Time is to be served concurrently. He received credit for time served.

Quentin Tobias, age 19, of Tickfaw, LA, pleaded no contest to resisting an officer. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. He is ordered to pay a $300.00 fine along with court costs.Amite- District Attorney Scott M. Darren Blount Jr., age 31, of Holden, LA, pleaded no contest to theft. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Ricky Bunch Jr., age 37, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to simple battery. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Joshua Everhart, age 29, of Tickfaw, LA, pleaded no contest to illegal possession of stolen things $1,000.00-$5,000.00. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections.

Crystal Hartfield, age 44, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. She was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. She received credit for time served.

Gabrielle Hartwick, age 26, of Albany, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 14 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $250.00 fine along with court costs.

Jamie Landry, age 45, of Tickfaw, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended, and she was placed on probation for three years.

Richard Parsons, age 34, of Livingston, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances- heroin and distribution of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to four years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Scott Punch, age 20, of Houma, LA, pleaded no contest to simple battery. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $250.00 fine along with court costs.

Albert Shoemaker, age 37, of Ferriday, LA, pleaded no contest to resisting arrest. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for one year. He is ordered to pay a $250.00 fine along with court costs.

Michael Wainwright, age 29, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to domestic abuse battery- victim pregnant and domestic abuse battery. She was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections.

Emmanuel Christy, age 29, of Prairieville, LA, pleaded no contest obscenity and sexual battery. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Lisa Lee, age 52, of Robert, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances and possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances- heroin. She was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years.

Leslie Anderson, age 44, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to distribution/possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances and illegal possession of stolen things. She was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay a $1,500.00 fine along with court costs.

George Brumfield, age 33, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to theft in excess of $5,000.00 but less than $25,000.00. Sentencing is scheduled for February 23, 2021.

Clarence Gaten, age 37, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances, theft in excess of $1,000.00 but less than $5,000.00, and simple burglary. Sentencing is scheduled for January 27, 2021.

Leslie Johnson, age 35, of Natalbany, LA, pleaded no contest to simple burglary. She was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for three years. She is ordered to pay a $500.00 fine along with court costs.

Christopher Jones, age 43, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substances. Sentencing is scheduled for January 27, 2021.

Oliverez Louis, age 31, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to distribution/possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled dangerous substances and distribution/possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $1,500.00 fine along with court costs.

Aaron Mitchell, age 32, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to obscenity. He was sentenced to two years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $1,500.00 fine along with court costs.

Bradley Troutman, age 43, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to domestic abuse battery, simple criminal damage to property under $1,000.00. Sentencing is scheduled for January 27, 2021.
