Livingston deputies investigate Springfield shooting

LPSO detectives release a photo of this Gold Toyota Tacoma. It’s tied to today’s shooting investigation.

Around 9:00 a.m. this morning, deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 25,000 stretch of Hwy 43 in reference to a shooting incident.

Sheriff Jason Ard says, ‘While this case remains under investigation, I can tell you that one victim was transported to a local hospital. The victim was struck twice in the lower extremities. That victim was taken into surgery. Detectives continue to work this case.’
