Dozens of criminal cases reported in Amite and Greensburg


Amite-District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on December 8, 2020 before Judge Charlotte Foster and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Bryan Arnold, age 25, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. He received credit for time served.

Terry Bordelon, age 29, of Mandeville, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated-first offense. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $859.00 fine along with court costs.

Bilbo Dephillips, age 53, of Albany, LA, pleaded no contest to resisting an officer. He received credit for time served.

Taylor Gill, age 26, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to theft, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. He received credit for time served.

Donna Hill, age 53, of Maurepas, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. She received credit for time served.

Tristan Hines, age 19, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 10 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended. He is ordered to pay a $100.00 fine along with court costs.

Demond Johnson, age 30, of Walker, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated- first offense. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $859.00 fine along with court costs.

Lexie Lanier, age 23, of French Settlement, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 10 days in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended. She is ordered to pay a $100.00 fine along with court costs.

Joseph Leggion, age 37, of Livingston, LA, pleaded no contest to violation of protective order. He received credit for time served.

Richard Smith, age 20, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to second degree battery. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Albert Thompson, age 53, of Denham Springs, LA, pleaded no contest to domestic abuse battery- first offense. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $350.00 fine along with court costs.

Michael Williams, age 33, of Walker, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated- first offense and resisting an officer. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $859.00 fine along with court costs.

Treshawn Adams, age 26, of Natalbany, LA, pleaded no contest to four counts of criminal trespassing, simple burglary, theft under $1,000.00, and remaining on premises. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Carlos Burns, age 41, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated- third offense and driving under suspension. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. All but one year of the sentence was suspended and he will be placed on in home incarceration for one year. He is ordered to pay a $2,000.00 fine along with court costs.

Ray Burton, age 45, of Roseland, LA, pleaded no contest to aggravated assault with a firearm. He was sentenced to 30 months with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Jessica Cousain, age 34, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of simple battery. She received credit for time served.

Alvin Kemp, age 24, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and domestic abuse battery-first offense. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was deferred and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Joshua Lafleur, age 20, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to simple battery. He received credit for time served.

Zachary LaFleur, age 24, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace. He received credit for time served.

Donnie Meyn, age 47, of Kentwood, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated and distribution of schedule III controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to one year with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Joey Story, age 20, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to two counts of possession of marijuana and possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances- MDMA. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. The sentence was deferred, and he was placed on probation for three years. He is ordered to pay a $350.00 fine along with court costs.

Orlando Upshaw, age 49, of Baton Rouge, LA, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of schedule I controlled dangerous substances- heroin. He was sentenced to five years with the department of corrections. He received credit for time served.

Tyler Evans, age 29, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated-first offense. He was sentence to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $935.00 fine along with court costs.

Charles Ford, age 46, of Roseland, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated-first offense. He was sentence to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $935.00 fine along with court costs.

Jeremy Frickey, age 24, of Ponchatoula, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated-first offense. He was sentence to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $935.00 fine along with court costs.

Katherine Goens, age 31, of Metairie, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated-first offense. She was sentence to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and she was placed on probation for two years. She is ordered to pay a $935.00 fine along with court costs.

Alma Gordon, age 55, of Tickfaw, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated-first offense. She was sentence to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and she was placed on probation for two years. She is ordered to pay a $935.00 fine along with court costs.

Duane Raines, age 47, of Franklinton, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated-first offense. He was sentence to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $935.00 fine along with court costs.

James Roberts, age 38, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated-first offense. He was sentence to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $935.00 fine along with court costs.

Jerry Robinson, age 66, of Hammond, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated-first offense. He was sentence to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay a $935.00 fine along with court costs.

Greensburg- District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on December 11, 2020 before Judge Charlotte Foster and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Carlos Burns, age 41, of Amite, LA, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated- third offense. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections. Two years of the sentence was suspended, and he will be placed on in home incarceration for one year. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Mario Givens, age 39, of Amite, LA, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace and domestic violence- simple criminal damage to property. He was sentenced to six months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for two years. He is ordered to pay all fines and court costs.
