Woman charged with cruelty to juvenile
Press Release from the Bogalusa Police:
On January 9, 2020, after an investigation was conducted by the Bogalusa Police Department CID Division into reported allegations of child abuse, detectives concluded that probable cause existed, and sought and obtained an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Monique Colter-Spikes on the charge of Second Degree Cruelty to Juveniles, after causing severe injury to a 6-year-old child. Colter-Spikes was arrested without incident, and booked into the Bogalusa City Jail, pending a transfer to the Washington Parish Jail for housing. Colter-Spikes refused to give a statement in the matter.
