SPD: Alleged jewelry thief is now in custody

33-year-old, Christian Scott (Gulfport, MS), turned himself in to Slidell Police, yesterday evening. Several weeks ago, Scott was captured on surveillance video performing a brazen jewelry theft from JG Jewelers. Several tips led to Slidell Police investigators being able to identify Scott as the thief.
