Denham man charged with stalking/violence
Press Release from the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office:
Deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were called to a Denham Springs home on three separate occasions for disturbances involving the same couple.
Sheriff Jason Ard says, "Three times - September 15, December 6 and January 3 - we were called to handle disturbances involving the same estranged couple. In September, nothing physical reported. Only a verbal argument reported to us. In December, we were called back out. The male was warned to stop contacting/harassing female. On January 3, 2019, we were back again. This time, male was refusing to leave. He also blocked the driveway of the home with his vehicle."

Jeremy Kirst, 36
*Two Baton Rouge TV stations have identified Kirst as a Baton Rouge Police officer. WBRZ TV says Kirst is on administrative leave from BRPD at this time.
